UNCLE TUPELO - STILL FEEL GONE Vinyl LP

Expected: 12/4/26

UNCLE TUPELO Still Feel Gone (2026 UK/EU 13-track LP pressed on 180 Gram Black Vinyl)

The second album from Uncle Tupelo, first released in 1991 and now reissued on vinyl. The trio of Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy and Mike Heidorn is widely recognised as a pioneer of American alternative country. Farrar and Tweedy later went on to lead Son Volt and Wilco.

The debut No Depression was mostly breakneck tempos with only the occasional slow song. Still Feel Gone moves into the middle ground between the two, bringing acoustic guitars further forward. Their high-strung acoustic playing is clearest on 'Still Be Around' and 'Looking For A Way Out', and the album also includes 'Gun'. The record shows more of what Farrar, Tweedy and Heidorn could do together as writers and players.

This is an audiophile pressing. It sits alongside No Depression and the band's third studio album, which are also returned to black vinyl.
