Barbara Lynn is a Southern soul guitarist and singer-songwriter who was influenced by BB King, Jimmy Reed and Elvis Presley. She topped the R&B and the US Billboard charts in 1962, and is active and relevant today. She's been sampled by Lil Wayne and Moby with 'I'm a Good Woman', The Beastie Boys 'Poor Old Trashman'. This is the first vinyl compilation in 40 years for this hero of the soul scene.
