Eric Schenkman - Ten Smiles 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl LP

The second solo album from Eric Schenkman, co-founder, guitarist, and occasional lead singer of the Spin Doctors, features 10 original songs that showcase his signature blend of rock, funk, psychedelia, and R&B.

Leading the release is "Recipe," a guitar-driven funk-rock track celebrating the electric guitar. Additional singles include "Hit on Me," co-written with Mountain drummer Corky Laing; "Avocado Eldorado," a Texas-flavored rocker inspired by Schenkman's grandfather's Cadillac, pictured on the album cover; and the expansive psychedelic centerpiece, "The Buffalo Song."

Recorded with an outstanding rhythm section featuring Al Cross (Big Sugar) on drums and Stan Miczek (Tom Cochrane) on bass, the album combines soulful grooves, powerful guitar work, and memorable songwriting across ten tracks.

Schenkman says, "If you have half as much fun listening to it as I did making it, you're gonna love it!"
