Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. A dive into the Fania archives unearthed Cafe, a Latin funk and soul gem on it's 50th anniversary. Legendary conguero Ray Barretto produced the one Cafe self-titled album, released on Vaya Records. The opener "Si Dame Tu Amor" ripples with funk grooves-sounding like something Barretto would have released himself-while "Identify Yourself" is an absolute jam. Featuring (AAA) lacquers cut from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio.
