Now released on 'hot' pink vinyl and as an eye-catching picture disc, Another Step was\n  Kim's fifth studio album, first released in November 1986. It includes the US chart-topping hit single 'You Keep Me\n  Hangin' On', a UK No. 2 for two weeks. This was followed by 'Another Step (Closer To You)' (UK No. 6), a duet with\n  Junior (Giscombe), and 'Say You Really Want Me' (UK No. 29), the latter also included on the soundtrack of the 1986\n  action-comedy film Running Scared. Both formats now come with the bonus track 'Victim', originally only included on\n  cassette and CD versions of the album. The presence of British Soul singer Junior points to the broader influences on\n  Another Step, which sees Kim move away from the synth-pop sound that marked her earlier releases, introducing elements\n  of R\u0026amp;B and Rock. This new direction includes the use of a brass section on the up-tempo 'Hit Him', and a trio of\n  female backing singers on the ballad 'How Do You Want My Love'.
